I was alphabetizing this morning, and thinking about the way it works if you have similar names. For instance, if you have a "Martin" and a "Martineau," the "Martin" goes first.
Is it not interesting that in alphabetizing, nothing comes before something?

I suppose if your name was then it would go first in the phone book. But: would anybody see it there? Ooh. Maybe there are already lots of people with no names in the phone book...we just can't see them.

You should post about your new car. :-)

I bow to your wishes. :-)
Also, I said at Awana last week that I'd post Kevin's observation. We were lining up by the last letter of our names (or our mother's maiden names or whatever) and when two of us had the same letter, we went on to sort ourselves by second-to-last letter, and eventually on up to fourth-to-last. He just remarked that it was interesting we automatically did that; a computer would have just jammed up.
