The Napoleon of Notting Hill

...has rapidly become one of my favorite books.

It's about a king who reinstates medieval boroughs in London for a joke and a fanatic who takes him seriously.

Who wants to be modern? Christians ought to be culturally relevant, yes, but that's not quite the same thing. Some things never go out of relevance. Further, one could argue that the more modern you are, the less relevant you will be. I do enjoy absolute truth. :-)

firinteine --- Sponging.....has its virtues and its vices. Being a sponger right now, I appreciate that my parents let me because it means I get to spend a lot more time studying than I normally would. On the other hand....the guilt adds up after a while. There is nothing like relying on your parents for everything after the age of 18 to make life difficult......All in all, I think I envy yourt non-sponger status

I looked for the book at the library and couldn't find it :(. Sounds like fun, though...
